The challenge

Selling cosmetics B2B adds real constraints: batch and expiry traceability, trustworthy reviews, and producer storytelling.

Quality had to be provable, not assumed — the platform needed monitoring and tests, not just features.

The approach

    Built the marketplace with cosmetics-specific models: product batches/lots, verified-purchase reviews, and a producer article layer.

  2. 02

    Wired in Sentry monitoring, unit tests for checkout and order logic, and Playwright e2e including auth scenarios.

  3. 03

    Localized for the market (Arabic) with a COD-first payment flow appropriate to the region.
